4. Data Retention and Deletion Policy
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide you with our services. Once you delete your account via Settings → Delete Account, all associated data (profile, practice history, interview sessions, Echo Lab recordings, and progress data) is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Audio recordings are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers after the session ends.
If you wish to request deletion of your data before deleting your account, you may contact us at hello@speakulyai.com. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with applicable law.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use Google AdMob to serve ads in the free version of our app. AdMob may use device identifiers and interaction data to show personalized or non-personalized ads based on your interests and browsing behaviour. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
We do not use any other tracking technologies, cookies, or third-party analytics SDKs beyond what is described in this policy.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure Firebase infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
The Speakuly app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
